Globular Annealing

After cold rolling process, the tensile strength of the material is quite high. Therefore, steel strips are annealed in order to alters the physical properties of a material so as increase its ductility, to make it more workable and to improve its mechanical properties.
Our annealing process takes place in furnaces with controlled atmosphere. The annealing process involves the prolonged permanence of the material at a certain temperature, near Ac1.
Annealing can induce ductility, reduce fragility, soften material, relieve internal stresses, increase material elongation, reduce tensile strength, refine the structure by making it homogeneous and improve cold working properties.

Annealing can take place also in an atmosphere with 100% H2 with several advantages in comparison to standard annealing:
-    Better uniformity inside furnace
-    Better homogeneity of mechanical characteristics
-    Low carbon contamination
-    Excellent material cleanliness
